Risk Analysis Required Placards

RARP PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

Risk Analysis Required Placards Warn Your Crews at Scene and After Incident Custody that the Vehicle is Hybrid or Electric!

New Federal standards and recommendations state that hybrid and electric vehicles that have been involved in a fire, collision or water related incident now require risk analysis.

With the rise in electric vehicles on the roadway, Fire departments and First Responders are placed in a situation where they are tasked with ensuring scenes are safe and the public is protected among countless of individual high voltage systems – each with unique features and hazards. It’s critical that responders placard high voltage vehicles for at scene safety and to protect second responders and repair facilities.

The Energy Security Agency RISK ANALYSIS REQUIRED SYSTEM creates a warning system at scene and throughout the vehicles life after the incident. Through RARP your agency has unique resource of placarding vehicles at scene as soon as identification has been made.
