Law Enforcement organizations have a responsibility to identify hybrid and electric vehicles. The ESA provides Risk Analysis Required Placards (RARP) that give you the tools to manage liability and notify secondary responders of potential hazards.
Energy Security offers training for law enforcement on safe interactions with hybrid and electric vehicles and offers RARP stickers to reduce liability and assist in chain of custody accountability.
Risk Analysis Required Placards (RARP) Warns Responders at Scene and After Incident Custody that the Vehicle is Hybrid or Electric.
HOW & WHEN TO USE THE ESA RARP STICKERS
1. Identify that the Vehicle is Hybrid or Electric Right Away
2. Apply a Risk Analysis Required Placard to the Windshield or Close Proximity
3. Call the ESA at NO Cost if at Scene Guidance is Required
